WB5 causes Synergy to crash

Hi all,

I use Synergy (http://synergy2.sf.net) to share my keyboard and mouse between my windows desktop and my linux desktop. Since installing the WB5 Beta, synergy crashes every time I try to interact with it..

What information can I provide to help resolve this problem?

Here's the info from WB5 :

From the crash :

szAppName : synergys.exe szAppVer : 0.0.0.0 szModName : unknown
szModVer : 0.0.0.0 offset : 00000000

This is in the appcompat.txt file it sent to Microsoft :




There was also a memory dump file.. I can pretty much crash this on command, so just let me know what you want me to do and what information you want me to retrieve and I should have no problem doing so.

For the time being, I've reverted back to WB4...

Yep.. I tried excluding synergys.exe ... I'm not so sure it's strictly related to the skinning of synergy itself.. Really, there's nothing to skin... It crashes when I move the cursor to the edge of the screen to move to the other machine, or when i click on the synergy icon looking for a status..

Getting a status could be skin related i guess, but it worked fine with WB4...

Well, WB4 is working perfectly for me now, so I'll stick with that and see what comes of the next few betas....

I just tried the latest synergy build with WB and had no problems at all.

What build of synergy are you using?

This seems to work now..    Actually, it has since a day or two after I posted the last message...  WB5 Rocks!
