FOR LIBERAL ANTI-WAR PEOPLE

http://www.billoreilly.com/currentarticle

Read this and NOT AGREE WITH it. I hope on some level this will get through to the anti-American, anti-war and anti-Bush crowd.
yes this means you colgene and dabe. This is not a challenge or a set-up or me trying to start a war here.

This makes perfect sense and if you think it through you will see it does make sense.

Cindy wants everybody to get along; she doesn't believe there is a worldwide terror war, and even if there is, we started it.

I think of one person here who believe that.

It is hopeless to try to reason with far left or far right zealots on any matter, but, thankfully, most Americans reject extremes.

Will the left ever understand this?

The liberal mind is too far gone. Just think. These peopel actually believe Bush was behind Sept. 11. Just something as stupid as that shows what we are dealing with. And these are people here who say they deal in "facts".

the truth is I think they just say that to get under our skin. no one with 1/100 of a single brain cell could believe the President of the United States could do such a thing.

A new Rasmussen poll says 54% of Americans understand that if America cuts and runs from Iraq, that country will descend into chaos. Just 20% believe Iraq would be better off if we split. I'll bet Jane Fonda is one of those 20%, and boy would I like to ask her this question: "You know, Ms. Fonda, after the USA pulled out of Southeast Asia in the mid-70's, the communists slaughtered about three million human beings in Cambodia and South Vietnam. Did you ever mention that in your subsequent peace comments?"

Well that's only 54%....70% believed the following and many still do.

Nearing the second anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, seven in 10 Americans continue to believe that Iraq's Saddam Hussein had a role in the attacks, even though the Bush administration and congressional investigators say they have no evidence of this.

Amen! Everyone is a victim to some degree on whatever spin they're being fed. Apparently some can better stomach right-wing spin and others left-wing.

Here comes my rant:
I mean, there's a large population in our country that believe Dinosaurs never existed and that teaching their kids that they did is like spitting in the face of their religious beliefs. People as the general public rarely know what's best for the public as a whole yet so many people vote for candidates who they feel are mostly like them forgetting that they themselves would probably make horrible politicians. Both parties have become parties of self-interest. What's in it for me....or how about What About Me? That way we can have it be the cool acronym WAM! Maybe we'll need to get George Michael and the rest of the band WAM back together to write a themesong for the new party.

So not only do Americans believe things that are slanted, many also believe things in complete contradiction to any sort of scientific proof.

So let's do this, reduce congress pay from whatever it is now ($150,000) to 35,000 and spread that as the cap throughout Washington maybe the President makes $50,000. Because if we really want our politicians to feel the same stresses we do then we need to bring them down to our level (most of us don't even make $35,000), because time and time again they've proved to us that they have no intention of sharing their piece of the pie as devote members of WAM to bring us up to their level.

rant over
