Screensaver Help

I downloaded some really spiffy screensavers off of wincustomize.com, but now I can't figure out how to get them to work on my computer >.<

Is there a program I am supposed to have? I went control panel->display->screensaver, but there's no way to browse for other screensavers or anything. Is it because I'm not on a Mac?

any help or advice is appreciated ^.^

If they downloaded as a .scr, then look in C:\WINDOWS - that's were my screensavers are and I believe all you need to do is move it there.

For Windows XP if is a .scr move to C:\WINDOWS\system32, some will be a .exe just double click to install. Pre XP I believe Bichur is correct.

Hey Bichur, the ones that are .exe install into Windows sometimes, some actually create a folder in program files.
For XP system32 is where all microsoft screensavers are.

Additionally, you can test out a screensaver without changing from your current one. The .scr extention is able to be executed and runs as a script.

Just doubleclick on the file as you see it after it's downloaded and it'll load the screensaver right there.
