KLP Plug Ins - Best Kept Secret Since Deepthroat

What is the deal with KLP Plug-Ins? The KLP home page tells you zilch about plug-ins. And forget about trying them out for yourself. You have to buy KLP first to get even a peek. A post in this forum asking about the plug-in SDK has been completely ignored by Stardock. Is this a stalled development project or just extreme neglect on the marketing/support side?
Eye candy seems to get 95% of the attention around here. Maybe there's a wealth of information/screenshots/discussion somewhere and I'm just missing where to find it...
