Cant find reg xp theme

Hi im not sure that this post would go here but i couldnt find any other place...when i go to properties then appearance..my xp theme(default) isnt listed under windows and buttons tab...only windows classic is? how do i get the reg theme back? is their an easy way besides formating and starting over..thanks

You need to go to control panel then to display. Then go to appearence. It should be listed under the windows and buttons.
