CANNOT DECIDE

Not sure if Object Desktop worth the $?

Hi All, I have been searching the forums (as well as the main site) & :NOTSURE: for the life of me I cannot find anywhere that tells me EVERYTHING included in 'Object Desktop'. The closest I have come to is "Some of these programs are free. Others are available individually or as part of Stardock's Object Desktop which is a suite of programs that can improve the way Windows looks and functions. Object Desktop includes many of these programs as part of it plus many others not listed here." Would someone be able to tell me where I can find this info or perhaps tell me yourself what is included? I would greatly appreciate it!!!!! :CONGRAT:

Thank-You so much, the link sinched it for me...I HAD TO HAVE...LOL , of course this meant I had to have 'CursorXP' & I have only just begun to expore !

I now have a 2nd question that I am trying to ask in the forums, but whenever I try to login/on it kicks me to the main page where it says: Welcome Citizen IndigoRoses! & when I click on the forums tab @ top of the page I am logged out?

What I am trying to ask in there is: "What is the difference between a DesktopX Theme & a Suite?" & "What program(s) is/are needed for them?"

Thanks Again

DesktopX Theme is created using DesktopX which you will need to use it.
Suites are skins for various items and cursors and icons. You will need the program for each item listed in the suite.

In each gallery there is a link to get the progam in the gallery descripton.

So I have to download every piece of a 'Suite' seperately? but DesktopX Themes are all in one? Is that correct? No matter @ the moment anyway b/c neither of them will work for me. If I try to apply a theme it says I do not have the components downloaded. I know that they are there b/c I downloaded them ALL individually !

Of course I have tried everything I can think of but obviously still missing something. Oh well at this point I give up as I have been woring on this for a week now & still have no luck!!

Thanks for the answer to my question tho, it will help when I can start using themes & suites!!!

Not quite. A regular suite usually consists parts such as Window Blinds (Window Blinds program needed), cursors (CursorXP program needed) a Rainlendar skin (rainlendar needs to be installed), etc.

A DesktopX theme is a theme created and used by desktopX which lets you have objects, widget, and gadgets (DesktopX program needed)

Thats if you get each program separately.

Object Desktop - includeds all the programs shown at the list in the link in #1 above.

So for the price of 3 programs you get a lot more.

Do you mean the programs needed or the parts of suites?
