Yet another screenshot

Pretty

I liked what they do with the Vista scrollbars.  You can't really see it in this screenshot but they are pretty gray and non-descript normally but when you mouse over a scrollbar, it changes into what you see here which looks nice.

okay, is it my employer's firewall or is something missing?

I've seen all the other screen shots.

I dunno how people are with this, but I hate if I have to mouse-over the scrollbar to recognize where is it. I love to see where is it, and know where do I have to put the mouse in the firsdt place.

Kol's otherwise great Longhorn5203/VistaXP skin, which I've been using on my home XP eversince he released it, has the same, you can barely find the scrollbar until your mouse is over that, even then it will go very light blue. This is skin-integrity-wise great, probably this is how the original works, as it is also mentioned in this post, but very annoying for me. Mostly when I'm browsing my favourite forums, and the scrollbar itself is very little, I have to scan the whole rightside of the window to find it. Very inproductive.

Luckily there's skinstudio and photoshop, so before leaving to work yesterday, I have created a substyle for myself.

AS ethszr said. I also find it annoying when I can't easily identify the scrollbar elements. Slows you down when you have to stop and serach for it.

I also agree. The scrollbars are possibly the most frequently used control. I'm always more likely to keep using a blind that makes scrollbars visible, and reactive to mouseover. Conversly, an otherwise stellar blind that doesn't have what I like in a scrollbar won't get used. IMHO

I don't use scrollbars anymore. Well not vertical ones anyway. I just use my mouse scroll wheel.

Mr XX: even if you have a forum topic in front of you, with 20/50/100 posts?
Let's say you want to go to the next page, the page is loaded focusing on its top, the "Next" link is on bottom. C'mon.

My mouse has 'cruise' buttons, one press and its scrolling down at a rapid rate of knots. It also has side scrolling/tilt, but I find that a bit useless.

Hey, could somebody be so kind to let me know how or where to get the script for putting a scrollbar on the left and right side of a webpage at the same time.
Thank you... Kenny
