Title Bar Hides Below Objectbar

When some applications open in maximized mode, the title bar of the respective window hides below the objectbar.

I have to minimize and then maximise the window to have the title bar of the window below the object bar

Just would like to know if it is a bug or have i missed something in configuring the application. Would appreciate any help.

I havn't used objectbar in a while, but perhaps you need to play around with the z-order settings of the bar you're working with? If you set it to always on bottom or desktop level, you windows should maximize on top of the bar. If you still want to see the bar when you maximize the window and you only want the window to maximize up to the edge of the bar, then you might need to go and tweak the desktop area settings.
