Visual C++ Runtime Error

Its not fun.

I bought Icon X and it was running fine until I got a visual c++ runtime error. It says contact support. I guess this is support. Everybody will know about it now. Please fix this. I'm running Windows XP Home Service Pack 2.

Support is actually via email at support@stardock.com this is a users forum where you may still get the help you need. We certainly will try. I've noticed if I have several jpg's or other pic files on the desktop it will try to remder all of them as a icon. Some of the larger ones (8+ meg) will sometimes crash IconX. Usually taking the offending item off the desktop will fix everything. Don't know if that helps but you gave pretty limited information.

There isn't really much to say. It loads and it crashes. It says it terminated in an unusual way and it says its the icon x program and it says its a visual c++ runtime error.
