Population loading ship bug

If you create a colony ship (and prolly a transport although that's not tested) and launch it from the turn summery screen, you can recall it to the planet by clicking on the fleet button right above the window where you selected the amount of colonists to load on it. However, the population does not return, so each time you do this, the population you loaded goes "poof".

Utananpishtim (I don't want to ask what that means)...

This sounds like a bug. Might want to post it in the Bugs thread for whichever version you're using.

If you decide you didn't want to launch the ship, or got the number of colonists wrong, you can get them back onto the planet easily enough by getting past the summary screens, then using the arrow keys to just drive it back onto the planet. This works with transports too.

Another buggy thing, or at least something they apparently didn't think of - when putting people back on an already populated planet (as in the above when you made a mistake, or simply if you are moving people from one colony to another), why does this consume the colony ship? Shouldn't it remain in orbit for you to re-use, instead of having to build it all over again? It's not like you're setting up on an uninhabited world.

On a completely tangential note... As for Utananpishtim, maybe it's a typo, Mike? Utnapishtim is a Sumerian mythological figure with a similar background to Noah.
