Explorer Replacements

i'm looking for recommendations

I'm looking for a Windows Explorer replacement.

I've tried a couple and the list of available products is very long, so I'm hoping to get some recommendations/critiques.

What I would like is an XP version that will skin with Windowblinds, not conflict with Right-Click or Object Dock, has a good search capability, do folder syncs (across network too) dual pane support, zip/rar support, viewers, customizable thumb size would be nice and all the stuff Explorer already does. The more it can do the better.

I've used X2, Directory Opus and I've downloaded but not installed ExplorerPlus. I have also used Powerdesk & Norton Commander/Desktop a few years back.

Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.

ExplorerPlus 6.2

ZtreeWin ...different but handy.

I use all three....and swear by them...

I used PowerDesk back in the late nineties, seems like at that time ExplorerPlus was a part of it. Also used Xtree (Ztreewin predecessor) and a similiar text-tree program called QDOS back in the eighties with the early wersions of DOS. Since PowerDesk Pro sells for around $50US and ExplorerPlus around $40US I'd have to go for ExplorerPlus if the 30 day trial works out.

I used X2 through it's 21 day trial a few months ago but didn't buy due mostly to the sync utility. I need something more configurable, that remembers it's settings for syncing across the LAN at work.

I came across this one yesterday and it's pretty good freeware.
