MS Outlook

Hi,

I want to create a Pocket PC Today screen like widget, which shows the tasks and appointments from Outlook (not Outlook Express) on the desktop. Are there any samples available and is there some explanation of the POOM calls available to do this?

Thanks.

AMEN! I wish I could help, but I know nothing,....other than the fact that one needs to be done. Rainlendar is the closest thing I've seen, but it lists all of the todo in your Outlook file...there is no option to select by date or category.

And clicking on an item opens Rainlendars edit window not Outlook's window.

It would be AWESOME to see something like PocketBreeze http://www.sbsh.net/products/pocketbreeze/ on the desktop of my PC.

You would think that porting back something like Pocketbreeze from WindowsCE to Windows wouldn't be too hard.

A widget like this would be invaluable.

Hi hodrod,

you're awesome!!! That was the same I thought!!! Porting Pocket Breeze to a DesktopX widget/gadget!!!
If there are some API's for DesktopX available I would give it a try. Have done some Pocket Outlook programming some time ago.

I know nothing about programing, but I can help you test anything you create. Another PocketPC today app that was my favorite before I switched to PocketBreeze was PIToday http://www.pitoday.de.vu/

For a long time, I've been asking the guys at PocketInformant to make some sort of pluggin for Outlook or even a replacement, but at Pocketbreeze or PIToday type widget would be fantastic.
