Maxthon 1.5.0 released

Maxthon has been updated to 1.5.0.  Betanews still lists as 1.3.3, but the download is the updated version.

Maxthon (formerly MyIE2) is a powerful web browser with a highly customizable interface. It is based on the Internet Explorer engine which means that what works in IE, works the same in Maxthon but with many additional efficient features like Tabbed Browsing Interface; Mouse Gestures; Super Drag&Drop; Privacy Protection; AD Hunter; Google Bar Support; External Utility Bar; and Skinning.

I've been using Maxthon for several months now and I think it's pretty good. It provides the funtionality of IE without the mess that FF makes of MANY web sites.
Security.... Most of the time if you are smarter than your mouse pad, you will avoid many of these threats anyway.

Thanks Island Dog. Hotmail and Microsoft updates work with Maxthon set as default, I will never have to open IE6 again.

Word of warning...once you set Maxthon as your default it does not let go, at least in earlier versions. I had to uninstall it to change default browsers.
