Missing dll

I have just updated to the latest DesktopX. When I try to open it now I get
"Desktop exe. Entry Point Not Found"
"The procedure entry point iconXSystrayMSG could not be located in the dynamic link library iconX.dll"
I appear to have misplaced a dll
Can I get this dll from somewhere or will I need to uninstall & reinstall DesktopX
OS is XP SP2. Fully up to date
Thanks for your help

My guess is that they forgot to update that dll file with the new version.

I'm getting the same error.

A few versions ago, Alberto forgot to update the .dll file for AniUtil. It generated the same type of error. I also suspect the same may be at root of this issue. Might I suggest installing IconX separately? Maybe copy the iconx.dll file from your iconx folder to your desktopx folder. If that doesn't do it my therory above may hold true.

Thanks Phoon
The IconX.dll is in the DesktopX folder. Are you suggesting I replace the IconX.dll with the iconx.dll in the IconX folder. The I & X are upper case in the Desktop folder but lower case in the IconX folder. I'am not sure if that means anything.

I copied the .dll from the IconX folder to the DesktopX folder and it solved the problem.

Thanks Phoon & Island Dog
I also copied the dll from the IconX folder to the DesktopX & it worked for me too

Reinstalling DesktopX would also have done it. Not clear why that didn't update right, but we're adding more tracking for the future.
