Minimized Windows?

I'm not sure if it's just me, but it seems like none of the desktopx themes that I've browsed through ever have any kind of ability to display minimized windows. I've just downloaded the free version of desktopx, and just getting to figure things out, so I may just be missing something. However, I don't believe I'll ever be a full desktopx convert unless there is some way to accomodate minimized windows in these themes. Is there a way? Am I missing something?

sure they do, but the theme will only have it if the creator put it in - or you can put in later in builder mode.

or you can use WindowsFX and minimize windows to tiles

or as mentioned - object dock

possibly. what kind of theme? DesktopX?

Try the documentation. Each program has a help file.

are you basically looking for a taskbar to show minimized windows/programs?

DesktopX, Builder mode, right click, new object, set it as a task bar in properties.

In my humble opinion, this is arguably the best DX theme to date Link - created by Chadamus (first comment posted).

It does require above average system graphics for full presentation quality, but shows off the full potential of DesktopX's ability to create an optimized desktop, and combined with a WindowBlinds and Icon Package that matches (say Stealth WB and Gant IP) - is really well thought out, designed, and different in a good way.

It includes nice buttons for minimized windows, as well as some nice information objects incorporated into the theme.

Note - if you try it, make sure to read the steps on installing the theme (need to set resolution to 1024x768 > apply theme > adjust resolution to size preferred > reboot).

A nice sample of DesktopX potential.
