help with internet explorer taskbar

hi, i used to only rely on stylexp for customization but a friend of mine sent me desktopX enterprise 3.1 telling me i would like it.
So without knowing what i was doing i downloaded a couple of themes from wincustomize site and i aplied them. But now i got a problem with internet explorer. Even if i close or unninstall desktopX, if i try to maximize my Iexplorer or explorer window it will maximize on top of the task bar =/

i tried installing firefox afterwards but it did the same thing, no more taskbar when i maximise.

I understand this feature is handy when using a theme with custom taskbar but id like to have my old settings back for my vanilla xp now.

any help will be apriciated

omg i thought it was only explorer and mozilla going on top of my taskbar lhen maximized, but its ALL my PROGRAMS ((

please help me i dont want to format over this

i tried to uninstall desktopx and ran a registry cleaner , to no avail =/

To anyone else wondering about this....... right click the taskbar > select Properties, and set it to "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows"
