Bootsking - unwelcome "Welcome" problem

Hi and thanks for reading!
Bootskin does a marvelous job for me but there is one horrible problem. The "Welcome" note disappears. It just doesn't show at all. I tried editing the word, not editing the word, etc. I even simply saved an unchanged boot file and then used it and the "Welcome" note was gone. Whenever i run the .dll file thru Bootskin, it gets rid of the "welcome" word.
Any smart, diminishingly simple solutions or ideas, please?
I give two thumbs up to anyone who can solve this perplexing enigma!
Many thanks in advance!!

Are you talking about LogonStudio maybe, bootskin does not have a Welcome message. If you do mean logons, by default the content area for welcome is set to zero by LogonStudio. It is a UIFILE tweak to get it back. For version 1.2.2 you need to go to logon folder, edit UIFILE.
Path to foders C:\Program Files\WinCustomize\LogonStudio
Near bottom of UIFILE look for following
/*CenterDivider*/

element id=atom(ContentContainerLeftPanel) layout=filllayout() layoutpos=left
element id=atom(ContentContainerLeftPanel2) layout=flowlayout(1,3,2,3) layoutpos=client
element id=atom(leftpanel) sheet=styleref(leftpanelss) layout=filllayout() layoutpos=left
element id=atom(logoarea) layout=verticalflowlayout(0,3,3,2)
/*Logo*/
element id=atom(help) contentalign=wrapright width=400rp padding=rect(0rp,0rp,0rp,0rp)/
/element
element id=atom(msgarea) layout=verticalflowlayout(0,0,0,2) >
element layout=filllayout() width=400rp **** This will be set to zero, edit save.
element id=atom(welcomeshadow) content=rcstr(7)/
element id=atom(welcome) content=rcstr(7)/

Thanks for your reply! You're right! I meant Logon Studio. I have not been using it for about half a year and mixed the two applications in my mind (or what is left of it). I will try your tip. Oh, I hope so much it works!!!!

Many thanks and best of the best regards!

Hi again!

I've tried your tip but sadly it did not work for me so far. I will give it some more testing, maybe it will crumble under my persistance after all.

BTW my version of Logon Studio is 1.0.64. I've checked it and it is the latest version avalaible from Stardock. Could it be that your version 1.2.2 works with the tip you've described and mine does not?

Regards,
