Post a link, on some sites, to your userpage (if you have one) or one of your skins and hope that someone clicks the link
The more unique clicks it gets, the higher your "advocate ranking" will be.

Hmmm. being an advocate really lifts the spirit! Mind you, i never intended to be one. it just happened. And to you bash, may you be one of the top advocates.

Oh by the way, try registering in Neowin.Net. post a link to your skin or your personal page and your advocate points will start escalating. Mine did when i joined Neowin.
