I am seeing a bunch of hit and miss posts about issues that people are having.  However, it is impossible for the web programmers to find the reports in this fashion.  Though Cordelia can relay the messages, she can't actually fix the issues (as can none of us expect the web team).

So, please post your issues here.  *BUT*, when you do, make sure that you are giving every detail possible.  A "this site is acting odd" report will get us nowhere.  Post when, where, and how the problem occurred.  Also let us know what browser you are using and if you have already tried cleaning your cookies.  Reproducible issues are easiest to track (with info on how to reproduce them) so, please try to reproduce the issue prior to reporting it.

Please remember that the more info you provide, the more likely it can be fixed.

Karma, A really weird thing happened. I had just finished writing a new article and had that window open, and then opened a new window when I saw that a topic had been replied to. On my new article window, I had something xx302 points, but when I replied on the other it was xx145 after the reply!

I cannot honestly say I should have had the xx302, as I dont add them up, but having the 2 windows side by side was weird. Is anything hinky going on?

I'm trying to edit an article, and it tells me I do not have permission and I must be a subscriber to Wincustomize. I am a subscriber.

I don't know if this is chronic but lately if a reply is posted after one of mine and I try to edit my reply, I get this error when I click on the Edit button:

Server Error in '/' Application.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

(etc., etc.....)


I don't get that error when trying to edit a reply while it remains the "last" or most recent reply in the thread.

I've scanned the previous problems, and I can honestly say that I don't have a clue about what was going on with a lot of the problems, or the solutions for the site, so I can't tell if this issue has been addressed or not, so forgive me and repost the solution if it has.

I have an artifcle that isn't showing up on my "recent articles" list. Also, when I visit other people's blogs, the most recent articles are mixed up with what seems to be their top articles list, and the dates are not recent, even though I can go to their Home page site and see the recent articles. In other words, the list isn't matching what is really there.

Cookies have been cleared by the way. Don't know what else to do.

Looks like forum indexes are not being updated over the last 24 hours (give or take). The last article I posted never showed up in the forum list originally, then did show up in the "recent forum posts" list after I added a comment, and now doesn't show up again when I add another.

I'm having a little problem. I can't access JU from my computer, it shows, the can't display page att this time, yet I can see it on my husband's computer. I don't know if that is a site problem or just my computer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If your DNS is correctly resolving JoeUser. I know at work, mine does not, so I have to put the entry into the host file.

The "Recent Articles" section of the sidebar has been broken for months now.... The most recent article listed on Tex's sidebar, for example, is from July.

I get those on occassion.  I think it is just a database timeout.

I just updated my nVidia drivers to 81.87 & now Smiley links and image links in replies are broken & some JU pages (such as this one) are not diplaying at the correct res or with all the correct images. Before I blame this on the drivers, are there some issues with JU today?

Sometimes, and recently more often, www.joeuser.com seems to be displayed in all the wrong colours. Everything seems more blue and is very unreadable.

This happens in Firefox on Windows, but not in IE on Windows or OmniWeb (Safari engine) on Mac OS.
