DesktopX with IconX problem

Hello,
I've noticed, for the latest build of both DesktopX and IconX, that DesktopX will not re-load IconX on reboot, the options for using IconX no longer appear in DesktopX, and loading IconX manually after DesktopX works (but I need to go into builder mode to change IconX settings, which is a pain). The biggest problem I have is that I get an error message when both are running (on shutdown of desktopX) that "Windows can't find IconX.exe". I've tried everything I could find in this forum, including reinstalling both and cleaning recommended folders. Any thoughts on a fix or what have I missed? Thanks!

I just tried having both load on startup.
first i went into builder to show desktop icons (mine were hidden)
then went back into DTX to check run on startup
then unloaded DTX
then loaded IconX and checked run on startup
reloaded DTX and the iconx tray icon disappeared (absorbed?)
restarted 3 times = each time both were loaded tho only the icon for dtx shows

but when i just checked on iconx, it was not checked to run on startup, when i checked it to run and then checked on dtx startup was unchecked = seems check run on start up on one, unchecks the other

i read an earlier post that said they are now separate programs, but for some reason, i don't think the umbilical cord is cut.

since all this probably won't help, let's consider this a.....
