It does for me...I believe you just have to make sure messenger is set to it's "Classic" skin and not "Indigo" or "Maverick blue". I never changed anything in WindowBlinds to allow it, but there may be a setting there. I'm sure somebody else will be along shortly if that doesn't do it for you.

Id would like to try that but i for some reason cannot get yahoo messenger to work with windowblinds loaded. If i right click the messenger program it closes out and removes itself from the tray. Any ideas??

asylumUMF ...... try unloading WindowBlinds > start Yahoo > set Yahoo skin to Classic > start WindowBlinds.

Unfortunately still no luck.... when i minimize to the system tray and then try to right click the icon from there it just poofs and dissapears.

I have unloaded, changed yahoo skin, reloaded etc... also have reinstalled both apps.

does the same thing with either IE or Firefox so Im not sure what to try next....

Ensure you are running the latest WB.  Earlier versions could cause this to happen as the Yahoo skinning conflicted with the WB skinning.

I have the exact same problem AND I'm running the most current version of BOTH WB and Yahoo messenger. If I'm chatting with someone on Yahoo, I can't click on any "buttons" such as to insert a smiley, insert an audible, right-clicking anywhere just exits out completely so this is really getting annoying. There must be a glitch somewhere.

IF you hold down Ctrl while you are clicking on Yahoo icon to open it, it will not skin yahoo, and youc an use yahoo as normal. This is a problem I feel should be fixed, but this is an OK work around for now.

Mr Essence21

Try adding yahoo messenger to your exclusions in windowblinds settings. If you do that and yahoo messenger starts and works properly, you will know that it is a conflict with windowblinds. Perhaps then you can change your skin settings for messenger and then unexclude yahoo messenger from being skinned. Or just leave it unskinned.

I know leaving it unskinned sucks but just trying to help.
