Objectdock Plus tray icons

I can't make Objectdock Plus to only show the icon I selected.

I can't make objectdock plus to only show the icon I selected when I minimize the window. When I do that it shows a screenshot of the window and the icon I selected in the bottom right corner. I know that this is a function but I don't whant it. There was a simple of and on box in the preferences in the freeware version but I can't make it work in the plus version.

Any tips or is it impossible in this (otherwise) brilliant version.

system:
objectdock plus version 1.05.506
and its on a tabbed dock.

If you wish to see the icon only try right clicking the program on the taskbar and chose minimize from there. If you minimize from the button on the program it will show the screenshot.

FWIW, in my case it doesn't matter how I minimise it, it still makes a screenshot (doesn't bother me in the lest BTW). Firefox doesn't behave exactly like other apps, however.

To MavisFip: doesn't turning off the option 'Appearance Tweaks->Represent Minimised windows by their Screenshot' work for you? It works fine here.

I get the same problem as you, MavisFip.

And Chris TH, it does not work for me. I wish I could change the system tray icons on ObjectDock Plus, that would make them look much nicer. Wish someone could help...

What happens when you (left) click and hold on the tray icon?

If the options are greyed out, unload OD and check the file:
"documents and settings\[username]\local settings\application data\stardock\objectdock\settings.ini"

Note that 'local settings' and 'application data' are hidden folders.

There should be an entry under the [Settings] heading that looks like: 'EnableTrayMiniIcons=1'. If it's not there add it in! Make a backup first though!

I hope that helps.

I made it... I got a helping hand from Chris TH but I found the setting in "settings.ini" that said: 'AllowScreenshot=1' and I simply changed the 1 to a 0.. worked fine... Thanks for all your tips... And I hope that somebody else who had the same problem solves them now. ( I shouldn't "write english" when I'm this tired, But I guess that you understand anyway )
