Please help!

Hello,

I downloaded windowblind the other day, and I really like it, but I have 3 questions please smile.gif

Incidently I use the DMN Tweak skin

1) If I purchase my copy, rather than the free version you can download, will I stop getting a message every time my computer loads?

2) Is there any way of making the logo disappear from the system tray? You know the bit where the clock is.

3) On the start button, after a while, purple lines appear on the 'separators' ....is that because I don't have a bought copy too?? Or is it a bug...

Hello, mattdanielc.

1) Yes.

2) The "logo" is actually icon of the minimized WindowBlinds Configuration dialog. You might want to leave it there, though you can change its setting in TaskBar properties to be "hidden" unless the System Tray is expanded so you don't have to see it all the time. If you really want it gone, there is a place in the User Overrides section of WBConfig where you can disable it.

3) I'm not sure what you are describing - if you could post a small screen capture showing it, maybe we could tell.

And one bit of advice if you purchase the enhanced version: be sure to unload WindowBlinds, completely uninstall the shareware version and reboot before running the enhanced version installer.

3) May be a magic pink issue, magic pink used on bitmap images should be transparent, normally right click on system tray icon and reload skin will fix it. Sometimes, very rarely, a reboot may be required to make WindowBlinds remember how to work. I am assuming since you said on the separators you mean the start menu not the button.
