Another question about trade routes ...

Must my endpoint of a trade route be the colony that built the freighter? Or can I build a freighter in Sol, for example, and use it to establish a trade route from another one of my colonies? If so, how is this done?

I *think* if you just put that freighter from Sol in orbit of your trade colony, you can then launch the freighter from the trade colony to the AI planet and have the route go to the trade colony. HOpefully someone can confirm this.

Yes i believe that is correct (tried it last night) . . . One more querry, how many tiny trade vessels do you have to take out for an enemy to lose a trade route? I must have swatted about six in a row untill some Avatars chased me away . . . they still kept trading?

Is it possible that it depends on how much the trade route is worth?On some routes only 1-2 sectors long,I had to kill only 2-3 vessels.But that´s just more of a guess.
