Like what I see!

I realy like what I see in the first beta. I like the UI as it is but I'm sure your going to make it even more appealing in the second beta. I like the fact that you can design the appearance of your ships. The ship design screen is easy to figure out. I like the territory boarders of each empire showing on the map, (I wasn't expecting that, it was a nice surprise.) Overall it is easy to understand and use. The only bug that is bothering me is probaly not your fault. I am trying to run it on a customized notebook computer that has a GeForce FX Go Graphics adapter. Nvidia's website says it doesn't update drivers for those adapters and leaves it up to the manufacturer of the notebook computer. They do this because each manufacturer tweaks the adapter for their own uses and reasons. But if I have to I'll buy a desktop computer to play GalCiv2. Yes, I'm a crazy fan of the GalCiv universe! Of course I'll do that as a last resort. Keep up the good work.

I haven't had a problem with my Nvidia laptop card.  What version is it? Mine is the GeForce FX Go5200.  I did see that you even have 128 MB of VRAM, so I don't think that you'll have a problem running it on your laptop.
