hello i need help

disable windowblinds

WindowBlinds is a great software but sometimes it conflicts with my system and makes it crash. So I would like to disable it from starting automatically when windows starts. But I can't find such option in the WB configuration screen and neither can i disable it in registry. So can anybody be so kind as to tell me how to disable windowblinds properly? Thanks in advance.

The reason you can't find it there is that it doesn't live in WBConfig.

If you are on XP, go to the Appearance tab of Display Properties and switch to either Luna or Classic & apply it. The next time you reboot, either Luna or Classic will remain the GUI.

If you're on Win2k or Win9x, go to the Skins tab of Display Properties - you'll see a checkbox at the bottom of the dialog that reads "Prevent Windowblinds from loading at startup". Check that and the system will come up in Classic when you reboot.

Thanks for your reply. But I've already uninstalled WindowBlinds. But your help is still much appreciated since I'll know how to deal with this problem next time I install WB.
