Network monitor

Hello guys...

Can anyone tell me how to configure network monitor on systats to show TOTAL bytes received and send (not per second)

Thanks a lot..

This would be a neat number to know, but in my experimenting, it seems it is harder to find out that one might think.

The DesktopX object thomassen suggested does show a total, but it is again a total PER SECOND, rather than the sum total for a session I think wyclef77 is looking for.

I may have overlooked somehting, but I couldn't find a PDH Meter class that just spits out this number. Some meters in Performance Object: Terminal Services Session sounded promising, but I could not get values from them. For example, I set a text layer to display a meter defined as Terminal Services Session->Input Bytes. The first time I did it, it showed some numbers, then settled at zero and doesn't change anymore. Other ones sometimes consistently output values but 1> I'm not sure what that value represents, and 2> For the total we want the number should only increase, and these values sometimes decrease.

So, if it is possible to know the total number of bytes sent/recieved for a session using SysStats, I too don't know how to do it. Maybe you could get a rough estimate by summing per second amounts, but again even this is beyond my current skills.

Sorry this is so little help. But at least I bumped the thread - maybe someone who knows will be more likely to see it and tell us.
