kronix reported at deviantart.com that a new version of TaskSwitchXP is out.
This is not a new version of Microsoft's Powertoy TaskSwitch, but an independent application created by Alexander Avdonin. While MS' version had issues with WindowBlinds, this one works perfectly and is very configurable to most of it features. For instance, you can choose different GUI elements it should use. By default it uses the startmenu style.
Another notable feature is that it allow you to tab through instances instead of windows.
It is also now got multilingual support. Not all too many languages availible at the moment, but the language files are in plain text and availible for anyone to create their own and contribute.

I have used MS version for a while and I really feel that this utillity is much better. It even feels faster. (Note: I have not done any timed comparison, it's just a general feel.) And I really liked that it played nice with WB.
I noted something interesting when I took the screencapture: I hit Alt+Tab to get the taskswitch window up, then hit Print Screen, open up PhotoShop to paste the screenshot assuming to get a capture of the entire desktop. Surprisingly what I got is exactly what I have posted. Just the window and nothing else. "Neat" was my thoughts.
I found the hotkeys to be a bit extreme. Many require you to hit four keys at the same time. All though, perhaps not much of a problem since most can be redefined and they are hotkeys to functions you might not use that much. But still, four keys...
