Attack drones?

I have starbases in most of my systems, and in Sol I have enhanced the attack to the utmost. I see that sensor drones have an attack of 12(!) in this sector, so could I use them to attack?

Try it.

Gift a ship in that sector to an enemy and see if you can attack it.

Then post the result.

PS: Make sure its not an Excalibur

There is an UP issuse that gives Transports attack power +20, but I haven't been able to attack with them. I was thinking that bonus only comes into play when your ships is attacked, as it normally cannot attack.
