user-pic?

???????

Hello everyone!
I just know I'm gonna ketch it for askin' this question but I gotta. You see I'm OLD. I've got oldtimers disease and cain't remember more than two days ago

I used a skin that changed my user-pic, and it looks like it changed it in EVERYTHING.

Here's the rub (on my old wrinkled skin) How in the world do I change it to somethin' I want?

Yeah ... I know! Stupid question but at least my old, wrinkled skin is THICK!!

if you open the Start menu and click on the user-pic, it'll open a dialog to allow you manually set one.

Not always. I used the Alienware suite and it changed my pic to their logo. No matter how many times I changed it back the suite would always revert back to the logo.

I went into the files and renamed the pic I wanted to the name of the logo. It worked for me. Be aware that there was more than one to rename though. I think in this suite there were three.

Good luck and happy easter!

Now why didn't I think of that? Worked like a charm (Just like it is supposed to do)
Akoloutheo:
Yeah. That's the suite I used. However, with me it changed user-pic in ANY theme I used. Got it back now and will see how other themes work now.

Thanks and God bless.

Save a pic in "my Pictures"

Click on Start Menu/Control panel/User Accounts/click on an account/change my picture/browse for more pictures. Select the image you saved.

Long way around.

I have allow skin to replace user icons unchecked in WB config, skins that have user pic copy them to My Computer
local disc-documents and settings\all users\application data\microsoft\user account pictures\default pictures.
Will be in display window when open user accounts. Must have show hidden files in folder options checked to get to
this folder.
