You can make activex controls obey transparency settings.
1. Create control object through script editor
2. Ctrl Left Click on control to select it
3. Right click to bring up menu
4. go to properties -> state -> and set an opacity level
5. Create another object. Assign it an opacity level.
6. set the control as a child of the new object.
7. the control's opacity will now apply.
any good?
