I undersand what you are saying SSOne. The difference is that the terrorists believed what they were doing was right in accordance with their faith. The apostles, if they had not seen Jesus raised, would not have believed. If the body had been stolen by others (ie the Romans) then the apostles would have had nothing to base their faith on. Also the Romans could just produce the body to show that He had not been ressurected.

It was because they did see the risen Lord that they believed. They were witnesses and were willing to die for what they saw to be true. Each man is able to search for the truth and when he finds it he places his faith into it. Some of these truths are not such. Many turn out to be a lie by it is only at the end of your days that you find out. This is what happened to the terrorists did. They believed with their whole hearts that they were working for their god, that a place in heaven was being prepared for them for their sacrifice.
