no transparencies after wb 4.0

I read in the faq that semi-transparent explorer windows are no longer available in wb 4.0 & later. Is there another way to add tranparency at all? Why was this discontinued?

Can you be more specific?

I have been running neOS by danilloOc and his skin has a transparency button on the left end of the title bar which works very well in both Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer interfaces.

Are you talking about creating a transparency effect with a skin that was not designed with it?

Leave some more details and I am sure someone will be able to explain and/or help you get the answer you are looking for.

oh, i just wanted to make explorer/ie windows semi-transparent on an already made skin... thanks, though

I was wondering this myself - will there be no more explorer transparency like in WB 3.5?
