47% Failure

I get a failure at either at 47 or 45%. I have read all the threads and I thought I did it correctly. It shows up in SDC fine, just gives me this failure each time. I am on T1 @ college, so I have tried 3 times all with the same result.

This might be a problem with ODZip.dll. Reinstalling the SDC might fix that.

This one means a file didn't finish downloading. Simply trying the installation again after a few minutes is usually all that is needed to fix it. In fact, you should probably try this before trying the other fix, as that could be caused a comm error too.

The usual culprit is traffic overload, either at Stardock themselves, or (more likely) a net link somewhere between you and Stardock. When this sort of error occurs, restarting immediately will usually just cause the error again, although possibly in a different place in the download.

I've tried about 8 times, on the Atlanta and CA server. I doubt it somehow my fault, as I am on a decently fast T1 line and have no problems elsewhere. I guess I'll redownload SD central...sigh. Thanks for the help :)

I reinstalled SDC. Same thing! I am getting rather agitated.

Try wiping your temporary Galciv download folder before you download.
