Illogical "running" indicators

In the Mac dock, the "running" arrow appears under a shortcut to show that it is running. In ObjectDock the arrow appears AND the program icon also appears in the taskbar area. This defeats the whole purpose of the arrows IMHO... If there is a shortcut for a program in the dock, then only the arrow should appear and the program should be hidden from the taskbar. Having running programs twice on the dock takes lots of space and is not very useful...

Also, it would be nice if you could set programs to be shown on the taskbar only when minimized, the Mac way. (I have a feeling like I've seen this functionality before, but maybe it was in some other dock application...?)

For your first problem you can:

1) disable running indicators from your dock (Dock settings > Appearance Tweaks > untick "Show running indicators on active shortcuts"

or

2) disable the OD taskbar (Dock settings > Dock contents > untick "show running tasks on the dock)

OD allows you to choose which one you want

Yeah true... It isn't exactly easy to copy Mac behavior, where a program isn't linked to its window in the same way.. And the dock isn't that clearly separated into shortcuts and tasks.. And open windows don't show on the dock, unless minimized.

I think I need some sleep now
