No object property settings available for Tiggz GT3 email checker mini widget after DX3 upgrade

Ok, maybe its me, but as soon as i downloaded the newest version of OD with the changes to DesktopX, ive lost all ability to configure Tiggz's mini-widget (object) email checker, except path to client email, before, i could use my change how the object reacts to events etc as well as using my own sounds for "new mail"...if its me, please let me know...otherwise, i want the old version of DesktopX back

thanx for any help

ok, disregard my original post, after installing the upgraded desktopX 3.0 to use atleast some of the objects, you need to use desktop builder, atleast that is what worked to restoreing the properties dialog to that particular object, tiggz site explains why he loaded the email mini widget as an object rather than a widget as settings wont save when you exit the program if its used as a widget, apparently the newer version of desktopx removes that objects properties dialog unless you load the builder portion of the program...i think..lol

I'm having trouble with desktopx 3 too for what concerns the mail checker. It appears the mail server/user/pass settings are lost when exiting the builder, which of course means that the mail checker won't work when using the client program to load the desktop. In previous versions of Desktopx the mail checker lost its settings if other modifications were done to the desktop prior saving the desktop. I am amazed that these forums have not been drowned in posts on this since I assume most desktopx users have a mail checker widget running (shame on microsoft for not building something into windows). I have managed to track down a widget that apparently stores the mail settings in the registry and therefore does not lose it, but its not my widget of choice and the mail checker really ought to work. Anybody out there know a workaround to this error... ?

Right click your desktopx tray icon and choose the welcome.
When the welcome comes up choose create. It replaced the edit mode.
Make your changes to objects.

Then, what i have found (instruction? hah.)(later maybe)
Unload builder. Restart desktopx. You're done.
