I was a bit confused as well. Downloaded thru Stardock update version 1.20.85, yet nothing in the news section about it. Verified the version in the game too. Not complaining but never did see a "1.19"

I guess it's been three days since the news was updated.

Oh well....must say, pleasant surprise.

We're running a bit ahead of schedule. ;)

There is a new galactic achievement that brings the cost of starbases down 25% in it along with some smarter AI diplomacy and some bug fixes.

I just played a game on 1.2. I noticed the new logistics tech right away, that was nice. I did have a CTD right at the end of the game when I was taking the Drengin's last planet though. When I reloaded Galciv, somehow two of them started up. One reloaded the game and the other started to play a new intro video, which incidentally I thought was a good video. All in all a strange night. Finally submitted with no problems.

Any chance of the updated manual in the update this time? or are Stardock still going to ignore the fact that the PDF file is missing? or how about fixing the scenario editor in AP for win98 users?

I think this update is for galciv, not AP. I think I remember they said the AP update would be available after the 1.2 was out. So maybe next week :) . But I don't now if it will be the version available for ^preorders: what I understood is that the gamma version will be availablo to download, but not before -- except if you have drengin.net
