Looking for CPU temp 0bject

Has anyone ever made one?

I'm looking for a DesktopX Obect that would tell the current CPU core temp. I have an Intel D865GBF mobo that uses a monitoring app called "Intel Active Monitor". It will certainly tell you the temp but you have to load it. I had overheating problems recently & upgraded to a variable speed fan w/ front fan cotrol. I'd like to see that the system is getting too hot in advance so I could manually increase speed. I COULD leave fan at highest speed indefinately but that's stupid. Rather use high speed when it's needed.

I know of no DX object that will tell you the temp. You can get MBM and it will do what you want http://mbm.livewiredev.com/ .Your board uses either LM85 or ADM1027 sensors.

Thanks, however I had MBM installed before and you can run into a conflict with IAM if they're both running at the same time. Don't know why. I have the object digidata running, which was created by _Martin_ . I'll contact him and ask if it's possible for me to create onejust for systemp. He did a great job with digidata!
