someone's probably said it better

Someone's probably said it better,
should that stop me
from going down this road
some will tell me
I've done many times previous.
I'm revising all original thoughts,
loving them as if they were my own,
especially since they are,
just as much mine
as they used to belong
to those who drove the spikes,
deep into these tracks.
I wasn't deafened by the pounding,
though it still rings in my ears,
to remind me,
I came here once before I arrived,
awash in these thoughts,
that someone probably thought better,
that can't stop me.
No matter how loud the ringing gets,
the train screaming towards the crossroads,
where I stalled while crossing.
I don't jump out windows,
or open doors,
or even brace for impact.
I accept impending crashes,
as if this disaster was my own,
since it is,
and always has been.
Everyone else hit by redundancy,
filed as an accident,
sharind the wealth I earned in yesteryear,
with the second-hand life I lead today.
I am no accident,
I am self-reliant tragedy,
being this being,
that someone have probably been better,
but I can't stop me.
