Thank you for your vote of support. The empire logo has now changed. You may need to hit F5 (refresh) to see it. I believe this logo is more fitting for the empire.

Yes, few days ago, I have send her a e-mail with a save game attached.
And few days after, the game appears in my profile (neear 7 days after my first submission). But when I thank her about this in the thread "metaverse posting problem", she posts a reply telling that she doesn't remember to have done such a thing.

I have updated Stardock central as hinted but I need to play a small game just to see if I succeed in posting games that were never submitted before. BTW, I play french version 1.10.

I could play French version 1.12 but there are some bugs that I would like to avoid. I could also play english version 1.13 with some patches. I would probably do so if I can't succeed in submitting games with version 1.10

Looks like that install Stardock central and Galciv 1.13 has done the trick for my submitting problem. And as I have forgotten to adjust properly IE refresh setting at home, I was thinking that nothing was transmitted as I saw no change in my profile . A little more testing are needed and then, I would be able to join an empire

How is the metaverse score calculated? How can I tell if my score is right?

To get an alliance victory on my masochist game, I need a fifth civilization to agree, as I was already allied with the other 4 major civilizations. But even though I was already close to them, the last one didn't agree to an alliance for normal incentives (such as trading a single technology in exchange for an alliance). So I ended up giving the 5th civilization all my cash (over 10,000), galactic trade goods, and techs to get the alliance.

Did trading away all of this stuff affect my final score? Should I have waited? I had been worried that if I waited, one of the four I was already in alliance with might break their alliances with me and I wasn't going to survive too many more turns juggling alliances since by far, I was militarily the weakest civilization. Do major civilizations ever "break" alliances?

The only time a major will break an alliance is if you go to war with another civilization with which they're allied or if they ask you to help them in a war and you refuse. There's also a random event that causes war between two civs, and that can happen even when they're allied.

Just in case you didn't know, you don't need all five to get an alliance victory, just all the remaining ones. If you kill off four and ally with the fifth, you have an alliance victory.

Website Update

Having fun trying to find the time to carry on building the Diplomats site. However i will do it soon. One quick question for you Slothrop, I am thinking of adding a section to the website called 'The Senate' where you could find a section that you would fill in for a proposed senate decision (ie terror star attacks). This completed form would then be e-mailed to the empire senate for their decision (to be posted here). Do you like the sound of it?

PS you must tell me how to kick butt at maso level. What was your strategy?

The empire awaits the decision of one, as to his future in the metaverse. Will he join or wont he? After two days we still dont know!
