Skinning Netscape...

My question is simple. Why can't WindowBlinds skin Netscape browser? And will it ever be able to?

It does infact..you have to switch your Netscape theme setting to "Classic" mode..then it will reflect your current WB..

Open your Netscape browser and go to the "edit" tab at the top..then to preferences..then to appearance and choose the "CLassic" theme style..

Hope this helps,

LoL..Not a problem Hazylunarrain, glad I could help. Netscape is a great browser, not alot of people think so, but I have enjoyed it for years and years..of course I use quite a few browsers for different things..Netscape has it's own unique usefulness..

Take Care,

Have you tried the new version 8 beta? I don't like ti. Not just the general "bugginess" of it, but it is supposed to be able to use firefox skins (at least thats where the browsers default sends you). Problem is, when you try to install a firefox shell it will download, but it will tell you that the file is not compatible. So far no good. I think I will stay with 7.2

I havent tried it and there is a reason for that..::laughs:: I would rather wait for a final release than deal with the bugs and issues "Beta's" are well known for..
When they release a working program , then I'll give it a go..until then there is 7.2, FF and IE that all work..among others ..
