Rendering FF useless

Now, this is something new I just found out about, an issue/problem in WB that renders FF useless. Please, note that this is un-tested and most importantly just an attempt to solve this problem.

Problem occurs when creating WB. If you choose to edit in SkinStudio the Miscellaneous/Fonts for Classic Widgets part, you will render Firefox useless. Well, that’s exactly what just happened to me with my two latest skins. I edited this part, replaced the original (unedited) fonts with my own.

This caused the FF not to display correctly. Fonts were very large (even though I didn't use large fonts), Right-Click didn't work. Neither did any of all Drop-Down menus. Some buttons have gone missing. How is all this possible?

That's the reason I'm posting this, so we can find out together.

Did you use negative numbers for the font heights? This is a known issue (not just with FF, as I understand it) and the solution is to be sure a minus sign precedes the number when setting font height in Fonts for Classic Widgets. I've found that using a negative number for the Titlebar text is useful in some cases as well. I can't begin to understand or explain why this is so, but it is. This info was included in Adam Najmanowicz's article "Ten things to check before uploading your skin" (or words to that effect) - should be able to find it in the WindowBlinds section here (maybe in OS Customization).

Using FF 1.0.4 on Win2k & XP with no font issues here (using negative numbers).

Thanks for the piece of information Daiwa. I tried it and it worked just fine. All thought I noticed that the font sizes in that section and the ones in the rest if the skin where treated differently. In FF the text becae really big. But the solution was to duplicate the font and reduse the text size of the new font.

Yes, this is exactly the problem I was having, and Pictoratus gave me the same solution.
