Shouldn't it be a UES name rather then a USS name?

First of all, I have nothing against the name USS but after all in the game, we are supposed to play with United Earth instead of United States.

So isn't it more logical to change the USS prefix to UES. I know I can change the name of a ship but if you have a lot of ships, this work can be quite timeconsuming.

Isn't there a way to specify what prefix you have in the game for your ships? IMO they're should be.

Couldn't this be implemented through a patch or so?

Oh that explains it too ofcourse, but I just thougth it was United States. But then again, why use Sol when there is only one planet in that solar system with people on them? So I still think it should be United Earth System.

It was a joke what I said, I don't know why it is called USS, but you can rename the ship if you want. The same with the planets, you also can rename them. Already this topic was discussed in the past.

Yes but when you have 50 or more ships, it can become quite timeconsuming to change them one by one.

Didn't know this topic was discussed in the past.
Sorry for the double topic then.

Aside from renaming each individual ship, I don't know of one. I agree that a mass prefix editor would be nice.

I also agree with Mayito. Join the Jedi Republic! http://www.galciv.com/metaverse/empires.asp?id=336

Circeus,

if you double-click on the name of the ship when it is highlighted (which is in the lower right of the display, just to the right of the bottom button bar), you can type in a new ship name.
If you click one of your stars to get the planet display, the "rename star" button is at the top right, above the actual list of planets.

Actually, it's the latin word we're considering.

And Citahellion, I do know how to rename stars. I was interested in a possible way to rename individual planets.
