Ghost Ship

Something weird has happened and I was wondering if anyone has come across this before? In my latest game I've come under attack from the Yor. I've sent two outmatched starfighter head long into yor space. One was destroyed the other has become what I can only describe as a ghost.

Its displayed as heavily damaged, has 0 hitpoints and can move anywhere on the map... like the yor homeworld. While it can't attack, it cannot be attacked either. While I'm not phased by it, I was wondering if anyone else knew about this. So far its making a pretty cool scout.

Darn it, it just repaired one hitpoint a few turns after, well it was fun while it lasted. :)

I just came across it. I had some stacked corvettes running around with like -12 to -22 hitpoints. Course....then the game crashed (:(

didnt have that in particular but had an occassion where my transports and death knights were not visible on the map or unit list in the bottom corner. They existed, and I could select them - just couldn't see them ! I exited out of the game and reloaded and it fixed the problem.

I've seen it before but I disbanded the ghost ship for fear that it might crash my game.

Actually you can just think of it as an unconscious pilot. You can still control the ship movement remotely until the pilot recovers. :)

Well at least I know to disband them now. Lucky for me the game didn't crash and it ended up one of the most enjoyable games I've played.
