Moving resource?

After a drawn out culture/tech battle, I finally finished my first game by by military means and posted to the metaverse. :D Yippee!

I mention this only becasue I thought it might not post at all, or at least post as anomolous due to an odd occurance I figured would be picked up as cheating.

The issue: I built a terror star up from a military resource mining starbase. As I moved the terror star, the military resource was dragged along with it, even outside the sector. Should this happen?

Version: 1.10A.73, Map: 4X4 sectors, AI: Normal. The only modification I have running is the Drengin Red star ships.

Yes, working as designed. The resource moves with the Terror Star.

yep that is normal and part of the game.

Your starbase is founded on the resource so it you upgrade to a Terorstar and move it, the resource comes for the ride as well.

Hehe I did it once for fun. I played a single-sector tiny defensive game, and gathered all the resources into that sector. I pumped all the terror stars full offensive and defensive, and was righteously creamed. Looked funny having all the naked resources lined up in rows!!
