1.10.072 crashing,

Ok I'm clueless, I just bought Galactic Civilizations, upgraded to 1.10.072, and I can't get anywhere before the game crashes. I've had it crash on Survey ships multiple times, and also when I've been trying to figure out show stacked and orbiting ships work. (I lost a colony ship somewhere)

Do I have to re-install from scratch to get a playable version?

No. The survey ship has a bug that was introduced in the latest patch. Don't double-click on it or click the "i" (info) button at the bottom of the screen.

Pilot the survey ship manually or use the "A" hotkey for autosurvey.

Well, I just had a another crash, this time when I create a ship, click on the fleets button, and then try to launch it. (blue dotted arrow) instant crash.

Is this one new to me? and if so how do I provide data?

Kajinn, I believe Stardock will put out a fix soon.

If you can't wait, you can reinstall and download the 1.05 standalone patch in the download page. That version wouldn't give you such problems.

Well, I'm just starting to get back into gaming, and GC looks really good, and runs on Win2K, which is a major stumbling block it appears.

I'll keep my eyes open for another fix I guess.
