Newbie On The Scene

Hi All ... I'm new to the forum and the game (In fact I haven't even finished my first game yet), and I thought I would drop in, say hi and ask a few newbie questions.

First and foremost I have to say what an enormously disapointing year it has been for the SCI-FI game genere in general. It started out with the sad excuse for a game MOO3 and ended with the biggest botch Star Wars Galaxies.

None the less I've had this game in the back of my mind the last couple of months and as I was browsing the local gaming store I spotted this gem and made the plunge. Only had it for a day and already I have to say that I'm pretty impressed. .. Finaly something to keep us SCI-FI fans happy.

Anywho.. to my questions.

1. What is this Stardock? Can someone give me a brief explanation please....

2. Does this game support multiplayer (didn't notice any Multiplayer support), if so how does it work?

3. I see a lot of MODS for the game. Is there a toolset for modding or is this something people are doing on their own?

4. I read that there is a expansion coming out for the game, but I can't seem to find any information about the expansion.. Can anyone elaborate what is being added in the expansion....

1. Stardock is the company made this game.
2. This game does not support multi player, yet it has a unique system called metaverse. It's like you play the game then submit it to metaverse to see where you stand.

This is a well made turn base space strategy game. If you want to make full fun out of it, make sure you submit your games to metaverse. Here are few things you need to check before you submit any game.
1. When you finish your game, make sure your nick name and alias are the same when you are on report screen.
2. Make sure you put right e-mail address.
