Problems with WB when windows starts up

Hi there.

I'm having some problems with WB. Whenever I start my computer I have to reload my current theme. Why is this happening?

WB is running perfectly otherwise.

Any suggestions?

I've had similar problems in the past and it turned out to be a Windows problem and not anything with WB. It turned out the problem was caused by Windows not shutting down properly which caused several programs (not just WB) to lose their settings. It's kind of a side effect caused by XP's attempt at being more stable, if it doesn't shut down properly it rolls your changes back in case one of the changes made is what caused the problem. Now, as far as a way to fix it that might be more complicated. If you are familiar enough with Windows and it's processes you can kill off all non-essential processes and see if that allows your settings to be saved on reboot, if not you may want to try getting Stardock's Technical Support to help with the problem, unless of course you don't mind just re-installing Windows because that will definitely fix it. I like the feel of a fresh Windows install myself so I re-install probably every 2 months or so just for that reason.

Anyway, hope you get it ironed out because WB is definitely a great app!

Good Luck!

Thanx a lot.
Well I kinda thought that that was the problem. Ever since I installed sp2 my computer has been acting strange. I guess some programs just aren't comfortable with this new update from microsoft.
Since I just re-installed windows not more than 2 weeks ago, I believe I wanna try something else first - like you say - confront the problem with the support group at Windowblinds.

Any ways thanx buddy

No prob! Did you install SP2 as an update or a clean install? If you did the latter it's got to be some program you're using because I have WB on SP2 at home and it works perfectly. Hope you get it ironed out!! Good Luck!
