System Tray Problems - DesktopX 2.4

I have just downloaded the public version of DesktopX 2.4, and am thinking about buying it, but I am having a major problem with creating a system tray object. Every time I select systray on object type it reverts back to layer. Am I missing something? TIA

Hey I have the same question too, my system tray does the same thing. If I resolve this issue I will let you know what I did. If you resolve this issue please let me know what you did. See ya, be safe

This 'might' be the cause: DX needs a process running called 'Trayserver.exe' in order to create systray objects correctly. See if you can find that executable in the main DX directory and launch it and then see if your systray object works. If that doesn't help, sorry, don't know what else it might be.
