version 1.092000?

i am kind of new here so maybe this is a stupid question...
how can Ray the Wanderer (top 1 player) play with version 1.092000 while
all other players play 1.05?

and how can i download 1.092.. i cannot see it in stardock central..

No stupid questions in this forum, paladon. :)

1.09 versions are beta versions of the Galciv Xpack. The Xpack would be free to all Galcivers next month. The beta versions however are available to all Drengin.net subscribers. To upgrade, you pay $30 if you already have the Galciv game here http://www.galciv.com/purchase.asp . You also get one year's worth of games from Stardock with the Drengin subscription.
